PSPF, NAPSA, LASF AND ZCTU ENGAGE PUBLIC SERVICE WORKERS ON NEW PENSION REFORMS.

The Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF), National Pensions Scheme Authority (NAPSA) and Local Authorities Superannuation Fund (LASF), in collaboration with the Zambia National Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU), are currently conducting nationwide sensitisation programmes across the country on the recently assented-to Pension Acts.

The sensitizations are designed to help public service employees better understand the new pension laws, their key provisions, and the benefits they offer.

On 4 June 2026, the President of the Republic of Zambia, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, assented to three new pension laws, including the Public Service Pensions Act No. 73 of 2026, which establishes a new mandatory occupational pension scheme for all public service employees.
