PSPF PARTICIPATES IN THE 2026 AFRICA PUBLIC SERVICE DAY

The Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) participated in the 2026 Africa Public Service Day commemorations and scooped second best position award in the Innovation and Digital Excellence category.

The 2026 Africa Public Service Day was held from 19-23 June 2026 under the theme: “Enhancing Public Sector Institutions and Empowering Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships to Achieve Universal Water Availability and Safe Sanitation by 2030.”

The award was in recognition of PSPF’s transformative digital initiatives which are reshaping pension administration in Zambia. These innovations include the e-PSPF Portal, PSPF Mobile App, USSD code *3434#, and the WhatsApp platform, all of which have significantly enhanced access to pension services for members and pensioners.

During the event, members were onboarded onto PSPF digital platforms such as the Mobile App, USSD platform, and WhatsApp service. Members of staff also assisted clients to apply for loans online using PSPF digital platforms.

Republican Vice President Mrs. Mutale W.K. Nalumango officiated at the event on behalf of Republican President Mr. Hakainde Hichilema.
