DEPUTY SECRETARY TO THE CABINET APPLAUDS PSPF 'S BIOMETRIC LIFE VERIFICATION SYSTEM.
Deputy
Secretary to the Cabinet Dr. Oliver Kalabo has commended the Public Service
Pensions Fund (PSPF) for introducing the Biometric Life Verification System,
which has enabled pensioners to update their life certificates remotely.
Dr.
Kalabo described the Biometric Life Verification System as a commendable
innovation that will save pensioners from the inconvenience of travelling long
distances to renew their life certificates.
The
Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet, who also took time to verify his life
certificate using the Biometric Life Verification System, encouraged PSPF to
intensify publicity of the digital platform to ensure that more pensioners
benefit from it.
Dr.
Kalabo was speaking when he visited the PSPF stand during the 2026 Africa
Public Service Day Roadshow and Exhibitions at East Park PIAZZA in Lusaka.
The
2026 Africa Public Service Day was held from 19th to 23rd June
2026 under the theme “Enhancing Public Sector Institutions and Empowering
Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships to Achieve Universal Water Availability and Safe
Sanitation by 2030.”
