PSPF JOINS 2026 AFRICA PUBLIC SERVICE DAY COMMEMORATIONS

Secretary to the Cabinet, Mr. Patrick Kangwa, on 18th June 2026 officially launched activities marking the 2026 Africa Public Service Day commemorations.

The 2026 Africa Public Service Day is being commemorated under the theme: “Enhancing Public Sector Institutions and Empowering Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships to Achieve Universal Water Availability and Safe Sanitation by 2030.”

In preparation for the main event on 23 June 2026, several activities have been lined up at both national and provincial levels. These include exhibitions, public discussions and inter-denominational church services aimed at promoting citizen engagement and strengthening public sector participation.

Speaking during the launch, Mr. Kangwa reaffirmed Government’s commitment to strengthening public institutions and enhancing service delivery across all sectors.

Mr. Kangwa stated that the planned activities are intended to foster stronger interaction between government institutions and citizens while promoting transparency, accountability and public participation in governance.

The Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) is proud to be part of the 2026 Africa Public Service Day commemorations, taking place from 19th to 23rd June 2026 at East Park PIAZZA in Lusaka.

During the commemorations, PSPF will showcase its products and services designed to improve the welfare of public service workers and pensioners. These include pension services, the Home Ownership Scheme, the Micro-Finance Loan facility, and various digital platforms that have enhanced members’ access to PSPF products and services.
