PSPF COMMEMORATES SIXTEEN DAYS OF ACTIVISM AGAINST GBV.
The Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) on 25th November 2025 joined the international community in commemorating this year’s Sixteen (16) Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence under the theme “UNITE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls.”
In Lusaka Province, the provincial launch and commemorations took place in Rufunsa District at Chinyunyu Secondary School and were officiated by Lusaka Province Minister, Hon. Sheal Mulyata, MP, who is also the Area Member of Parliament for Rufunsa.
The event brought together participants from public and private institutions, traditional leadership, cooperating partners, civil society organisations, religious groups, the Human Rights Commission, and government representatives among others.
In her remarks, the Minister urged traditional leaders, the Church, and all stakeholders to work closely with the government in addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV) which has evolved from physical to include cyber and digital forms of abuse.
The 16 Days of Activism against
Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign held from November 25
to December 10 to raise awareness, mobilize communities, and advocate for
action to end violence against women and girls.
