PSPF WINS TWO AWARDS AT 2025 AFRICA PUBLIC SERVICE DAY.

The Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) won two awards at the 2025 Africa Public Service Day (APSD) commemorations held at East Park Piazza in Lusaka from 26th to 29th June.

PSPF was among several public institutions that participated in the exhibition, which was held under the theme “Enhancing the Agility and Resilience of Public Institutions to Achieve Equitable Governance and Rapidly Address Historical Gaps.”

In recognition of its transformative digital initiatives, PSPF was awarded First Prize in Digital Excellence and Innovation. The Fund’s digital platforms such as the E-PSPF portal, the PSPF Mobile App, USSD code *3434#, and the WhatsApp line +260 770 627391 have significantly enhanced access to pension services for members and pensioners.

PSPF also secured Third Prize in the Legal and Structural Reforms category, reflecting the institution’s ongoing commitment to improving operational efficiency through comprehensive institutional reforms.

Chief Government Spokesperson and Minister of Information and Media, Hon. Cornelius Mweetwa, MP, who commended all participating institutions for their dedication to public service excellence officiated at the event on behalf of Republican President, His Excellence Mr. Hakainde Hichilema.

Speaking during their separate tours to the PSPF stand, Secretary to the Cabinet, Mr. Patrick Kangwa, and Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary, Mr. Thabo Kawana, both commended the Fund for the innovations that have enhanced accessibility to pension services for members and pensioners.
