PSPF PARTICIPATES IN TCCCAD HIGH-LEVEL CYBERSECURITY AND ISO 27001 TRAINING

The Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) participated in a high-impact training focused on Cyber Security, Data Privacy, and ISO 27001:2022 Standard Compliance, aimed at enhancing digital resilience and information assurance across Zambia’s public sector.

The training held from April 15th to 17th, 2025 at Sandy's Creations was organized by the Technical Centre for Climate Change and Agricultural Development (TCCCAD) under the theme “Strengthening National Cyber Security, Privacy Data Protection and Information Security Management – ISO 27001.”

The event brought together a diverse range of public institutions, including the Zambia Army, Zambia Correctional Service and the Ministries of Technology and Science, Information and Media and Finance and National Planning. Also in attendance were Smart Zambia, Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS), and the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC).

Participants in the training gained critical insights and practical skills into Cyber and information security risk management, Data privacy protection frameworks, Advanced electronic records management systems and international standards compliance under ISO 27001:2022.

The Fund’s participation reflected its strategic commitment to securing digital transformation as outlined in its 2024–2028 Strategic Plan. 

The TCCCAD’s initiative sets a benchmark for national cooperation in cyber readiness and institutional resilience.
