PSPF COMMEMORATES INTERNATIONAL ANTI-CORRUPTION DAY

The Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) participated in the 2024 International Anti-Corruption Day commemorations held on December 9, 2024, at Stephen Luwisha Girls Secondary School in Kabwe, Central Province.

 Themed “Uniting with Youth Against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow's Integrity,” the event brought together various stakeholders from the government, Cooperating partners, the Civil Society, the Church and the Youth to champion the fight against corruption and promote integrity.

The event was officiated by Central Province Minister Honourable Mwabashike Nkulukusa who was accompanied by other senior government officials, including the Permanent Secretary for Central Province Mr. Milner Mwanakampwe and the Mayor of Kabwe Mr Patrick Chishala.

PSPF representatives were part of the Anti-Corruption Walk, which began at Coronation Park Mall to Stephen Luwisha Girls Secondary School. The PSPF team also engaged with the public and other stakeholders during the tour of exhibition stands where it showcased the Fund’s digitization and automation initiatives aimed at enhancing transparency and reducing fraud risks in pension administration.

The Fund’s participation in the commemoration emphasized the commitment to foster a culture of transparency and accountability in its operations.

In November this year, Beene Muche Mweene, a Records Assistant at PSPF was honored with the Director General’s Integrity Award by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in recognition of her exemplary demonstration of integrity and ethical conduct in the discharge of her duties at the Fund.
